National Forum Conference- Call for Abstracts is now Open!
About The Conference:
The National Forum of State Nursing Workforce Centers 2022 Annual Conference will bring together in-person and virtual modalities to fully engage nursing and healthcare leaders throughout the country. Participants will share cutting edge models of practice, data analytics and innovations in nursing education to change the nursing workforce game and address the critical workforce development issues facing our nation.
Conference Content:
Sessions will highlight innovative and transformational ways that states approach recruitment & retention, models of nursing education, expansion of public health, nurse well-being, and diversity, equity, and inclusion through the lens of data. The objective is to identify solutions to challenges created by the pandemic and address the impact to healthcare and nursing into the future.
General Information:
Abstracts are due February 15th, 2022
All proposals submitted will be blind reviewed and considered by a peer review committee for their potential contribution to the conference objectives.
Presenters will be notified of the outcome of the review committee by March 25, 2022, and must confirm their participation by April 1, 2022.
All presenters are expected to pay for their registration and travel expenses to the conference.
Contact hours will be awarded for these presentations, and, therefore the proposal will include two learner objectives (see the next section).
Proposals must select a podium or poster presentation. Presentations will be scheduled for either 25 or 50 minute sessions including time allowed for questions and answers. You may indicate a preference on your abstract form but the final determination will be made by the selection committee.
LCD projectors will be available for the presentations.
Proposals not accepted for presentation may be asked to do a poster presentation.
