Shoutout to Amanda and Carmen who are attending the 46th (!!) Annual National Association of Hispanic Nurses (NAHN) Conference in sunny Puerto Rico! #NAHN2021 They’ll be presenting “Building an Inclusive Learning Environment” to members of NAHN from around the country. Carmen and Amanda are honored and excited to discuss what nursing faculty and educators can do to help diverse nursing students feel welcome into their programs. They’ll explore ways to promote healthy communication and awareness around cultural competence and biases to promote nursing education in Latino communities.
