In celebration of Nurses Week 2024, The Center proudly shines a spotlight on the dedicated nurses who are vital members of our amazing team.
Callie Anne Bittner, MS, RN, CCHC, Co-Active Coach, CNE Clinical Scholar, began working with the Center as a subject matter expert in 2012 and joined the team full time as a Project Director in March 2018. She leads multiple programs at The Center including; directing the Rural Behavioral Health Grant, Colorado’s Action Coalition and Nurses on Boards Coalition. In addition, she is an executive leadership coach and has over fifteen years of clinical and teaching experience in both rural and urban areas, she was a previous affiliate faculty member at Regis University, and is a published author and Childcare Health Consultant for a local daycare in her town. Callie Anne is also a member of the Colorado Organization of Nurse Leaders and Colorado Nurses Foundation Board of Directors. She and her family reside in a small southern Colorado mountain town.

FCN will soon make the first stop on its Community Engagement Tour.
The inaugural workshop will take place on May 21, 2024, at Indian River State College, 10am. The tour is an opportunity for healthcare leaders to hear directly from the community about issues impacting healthcare. At each meeting, participants are invited to:
- Review and comment on nursing workforce data and needs specific to their community, and - Recommend systemic changes, including strategies for implementation of recommended changes.
Participants can choose to attend in person or virtually. Visit flcntr.org/CETSE to register.
